Forum Connects Parents to Area Organizations, Agencies

?With juggling work, school, and everything in between – finding time to search for helpful resources can be a challenge – not to worry, the Community Partners Forum can help with that.

Pasadena ISD administrators and staff teamed up with representatives from over 40 local human service and health agencies for the First Annual Community Partners Forum at the Orozco Center.

The event served as a one-stop shop for the community to learn about resources available to district staff, parents and students.

The forum was a collaborative effort by local representatives from Pasadena ISD’s Special Programs Department, Texas Afterschool Centers on Education (ACE), Harris County Health Services, and Community Health Choice.

Event organizers are optimistic that the forum will empower students and their parents to take advantage of services available around the area.
