For the fourth consecutive year, Pasadena Memorial High School earned a bronze medal after being named one of the best high schools in Texas by the U.S. News & World Report.

According to the U.S. News website, “Schools are ranked based on their performance on state-required tests and how well they prepare students for college.”

“I’m in awe of the work our teachers put in with our students every year,” said PMHS Principal Jeremy Richardson. “We have a school full of innovative teachers who are always looking for new ways to teach, improve and measure student learning.”

Pasadena Memorial, which is home to over 3,200 students, was ranked 238 in the state and is the only Pasadena ISD school to be ranked this year.

“This award is just validation for us that we are on the right track. We are proud to be recognized as one of Texas’s top high schools,” said Richardson.
